Where is Roaring Spring?

Roaring Spring is in South Central Pennsylvania, in Blair County, a very quiet country side region, inhabited mainly by olds Dutch families and Mennonites. The main reference would be Altoona, which is located 15 miles North of Roaring Spring.

How old is 'Sunhearth Trails B&B' house?

We think the first dwelling started to be built in the 1940s. An addition was added in the 60s, and our renovations have being going on for the last 2 years. The Californian style cabin, by the entry of the lane, is believed to be built in the 80s.

What activities are available in the area?

In addition to what can be found in our entertainment links (check Bed & Breakfast page) there are many opportunities to explore scenic country roads and parks. There are nearby golf courses, some of the best fishing streams in the East and countless miles of hiking and biking trails.

Can small groups be accommodated?

If you are planning a small family or business gathering, the great room along with the large deck and outdoor grounds can be made available for the day. Call to discuss the rates and your needs.

If we would want an extra person/child to stay in our room, is there an extra charge?

All rates are based on double occupancy. A cot can be provided for a $15 charge.

What does pet friendly mean?

Different accommodations are available, but need to be discussed in advance.

When the pups will be available?

We are hopping to have the 1st litter delivered by Novemeber 2010.
